On purchasing a property at the crest of a hill in North London, it was disappointing for the client to find that the view out from the top of the existing house over the city and beyond didn't actually exist. However with a careful reconfiguring/enlargement of the original dormer by pushing it outwards by approx. 300mm and returning the glazing back to its original position we were able to create the view.
A further whole width extension at ground floor level opens up the kitchen diner to the new landscaped garden. Finished in a silver grey granite with a raised hardwood sun deck to the rear with its own fire pit. The surface is broken up by raised flower beds which augment the glazing to the new rear elevation. All new fencing to the garden is made from standard roofing batten which is intended to act as a framework for all things green to grow on.
