If it's not broken, why fix it? These clients lived close by to the Lancaster Road House 1 project and were very clear in what they wanted - they wanted a repeat of it. Not a particularly interesting proposition for the architect, but nothing is ever entirely the same.
Siting, level changes, material palette and eight further years' of experience at the process made for a different and enhanced outcome.
